Gum Arabic is mainly used to be mixed with grisailles (in this case with distilled water) turning them into paint. It helps the mixing of colours and their application on the glass.

It can also be mixed with fusible paint to give it a thicker texture, as oil paint. It will make its tracing and application easier.

This product turns colourless after firing.
